Pict about Magdeburg raid on 07 october 1944

Hey all,

I would love to find the original (high definition) pict of that one, showing the bombing raid against Krupp-Gruson Factory in Magdeburg.

The pict found on internet mentions: "Mark Brotherton collection".

Do someone know if it is a private or public (USAAF archives) pict?

Thanks for any help,

Mathias

Are you sure it's not an official USAAF photo with the negative on file at the U.S. National Archives in Washington? If it is, you could order a print.

The picture is from the Air Force collection stored at NARA. Unfortunately the Air Force collection is odd in the way the photographs are stored. This one could possibly be located in the boxes marked "Germany - Bombing", because the photo was taken over Germany.
If the aircraft in the photo had a picture taken of it over France on the way to Germany, that picture would be in the France boxes.

Typing in Krupp on Fold3 WW II images gave me this,

If you type in Magdeburg, there are 102 photos to review,
