I do welcome all the info and thank everyone. The only thing I can point out between the first picture from the 526th link and 711 at http://www.fold3.com/image/#37219939 is a horizontal discoloration on the #1 eng. lower cowl, where the upper cowl aft latch attaches. Not proof of anything, just an observation.

Would it be wrong of me to think http://www.flickr.com/photos/whiskeybravo/5244897313/ is FAC.NR: 110165 which later became USA code #101 ("what was it?") at Melun? The FE list http://www.indianamilitary.org/Freem...0Numbers-1.htm does list #101 as being USA3
