Re: Wellington crash in Köln on 5-6 April 1942
Hi Laurent,
My notes have Wellington X3661 as being hit and severly damaged by flak at 10,000 feet. The aircraft had to make a forced landing, location not known. The crew became PoW's. Wellington X3489 was brought down over the target, crashing into the town centre. All of the crew were killed. Thats about all I have. Regards, Wayne. |
