Re: He 177 aircraft with KG1 crashed in the near flugplatz Wormditt.
Brian
Thank you for the information. I think it will be a difficult topic to explain. The data you have bestowed on aircraft from another region than the region Wormditt. Do you have other information about the losses the KG1? Perhaps the other gruppen (1/KG1, 3/KG1, 4/KG1) sent their planes to Stab/KG1 or 2/KG1. Perhaps He177 aircraft flew only occasionally after 08.1944r? After 08.1944 disbanded KG1 and renamed JG7 . JG7 equipped aircraft Me262. He177 aircraft could operate flights from airports around Koningsberg (Kaliningrad, Russia) (from 08.1944) Here's a link to the places where other aircraft are He177 (Siemiatycze, Poland) http://www.forum.spotter.pl/heinkell-he-177-t4637/index.html?amp and photographs of the crashed He 177 (area Wormditt) http://www.forum.eksploracja.pl/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=28380&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&sid=8ff9 8430a174a05ea7f69fadd0eb5a24&start=25 |
