From what we know he was with the Unit 11/NJG5 and he was an Oberfeldwebel and was a Luftwaffe and also a Bordfunker 'radio Operator" The story goes that he was on a flight Ju88 G-1 WNR.710458 and it was shot down and he was KIA . this was on April 11th, 1944 My Father was born in Welzow there are the base we believe and my Grandmother Charlotte worked as an Air Signals Assistant and in Corosspondence. I would love to be able to have all of his military history and flight infos etc..... Charlotte"Char" I have only one picture here with me and it was taken just prior to the plane being shot down and my Grandfather being KIA. |
