Re: Col. Robert R. Scott,USAF
Capt. Robert R Scott is credited with a Lily destroyed on Oct 29, 1944 between 2100 and 2245, in a P-61A, with the 426thNFS. He is credited with a TE bomber probable on Nov 21, 1944 at 2100. His radar operator in both cases was FO Charles W Phillips. He is not credited with any air-to-air or air-to-ground victories in Historical Study 81 USAF Credits for the Destruction of Enemy Aircraft Korean War. On March 26, 1967 he is credited with a MiG-17 at 1520, in F-105D-15 61-105 while flying with the 333rdTFS of the 355th TFW.
So, not an ace, and only two victories. The only other pilot with victories in WW2 and Vietnam that I am aware of is Robin Olds. Enjoy! Frank.
