Re: Identity of 3/KG76 crash landing
Chris,
I have five photos of this a/c in the EoE Photo DB. I've tentatively identified these as being, according to the EoE Luft Loss DB: * "3./KG76 Dornier Do17Z. Starboard engine damaged in attacks by Lt Morin of GC III/3 near Mantes-la-Jolie, north-west of Paris, and finally belly-landed in German-held territory near Auxi-le-Château 3.00 p.m. Probably also attacked by Sgt Le Nigen. FF Lt Joachim Hübner badly wounded - died same day, rest of crew unhurt. Aircraft 60% damaged - write-off."
