Re: 1943 April 2 Crash Of Aircraft Shot By Flack

Hi,

what I could find in the vicinity of St. Père en Retz between St. Nazaire and Nantes:

4.2.41 17h30: RAF Hampden Mk. I, No. 106 Sqn, ZN - ?, AD750, Sgt. J L Franco, crashed near Nantes, crew killed

2.4.43 20h07: RAF Lancaster Mk. I, No. 57 Sqn, DX - ?, W4257, P/O R L Pickup, crashed near St. Nazaire, crew killed

Source: RAF Bomber Command Operational Losses

Hope that helps

Cheers
Matthias
