Hi.
The call "Horrido" or "Horridoh" (both terms are correct according to the German dictionary) is NOT invented by German fighter pilots or even the Luftwaffe. It has been a greeting or a call between huntingmen since ancient times and developped from the expression "Ho Rüd' ho", which means that the hounds should start seeking.
Since about 1740, Horrido is known by the Prussian military, when Frederick the Great recruited huntingmen for his army, serving in a special reconnaisance unit.
Maybe this house you are according to was a hunting lodge in earlier days.
