l think it should be pointed out, that the (screened) pilot of No.27 OTU Wellington III X3547, AUS402813 F/Sgt Leonard David WATSON RAAF, also lost two brothers in RAAF service, namely: AUS420328 F/O (Pilot) Maxwell Thomas Lockwood WATSON RAAF, 22/23-9-1943 No.460 Sqn RAAF, Lancaster III JA859 (on his 1st op.). and... AUS420314 P/O (Pilot) Malcolm Douglas WATSON RAAF, 18/19-3-1944 No.466 Sqn RAAF, Halifax III LV827. Col. Last edited by Col Bruggy; 5th November 2013 at 06:29. |

According to Bomber Command losses Vol 7 by Chorley the following were lost F/S L D Watson RAAF Sgt D Williams F/S W D K Forbes RAAF Sgt J E Rouse Sgt F R Conway F/S L G Coppins Sgt H T Holley Sgt L F Hills All the best Stig |
