Hi,
Karl is MIA since 03/03/1944 so he cannot be MIA again on 01/05/1945. Also on the website I have found an article about III./SG 4 and the Battle for Normandy (page 2). SG4 in Normandy fought together with Stab and I./JG 11 against Allies. On 08/06/1944 Fw Krűger scored hits on P47 Thunderbolt which left strong smoke trail. For some points it can be the same person who MIA in 01/05/1945: rank and surname and exactly the same unit (I/JG11). Thank you for post. Every message counts. Regards Piotr
