Re: 364th FG claims - June 25, 1944
I have just this info from a copy of the 8th Air Force #441 mission’s narrative:
"One Group bounced a flight of 12 plus enemy aircraft flying on the deck near the Loire river and accounted for 8 destroyed and 4 damaged without loss." Kenn Miller's book gives Me109s and Fw190s destroyed for this date by the 364th FG. Best regards, Frederic.
