Circumstances of Horst Schilling's death on 16 Sept. 1944?

Does anyone know the circumstances of fighter pilot Horst Schilling's death aboard a Bf 109G-6 on 16 Sept. 1944? He was reportedly part of 7./JG 108.
Did Fhr. Dieter Reincke of the same squadron also die during late war?
Thanks,

Here some pictures

I have Reincke as lost in WNr. 332597, and WNr. 332397 being lost on 25-Feb-45 with Ogefr. Gerhard Jonnek of 9./JG 53 being KIA due to Luftkampf with P-47s and P-51s in the Pforzheim/Bretten area.

Re: Circumstances of Horst Schilling's death on 16 Sept. 1944?

Jim,

I have same WNr. 332397 for both, but no means to verify, which one is correct. Both should be found on NVMs. 332397 of Jonnek in 1945-02-23 (not 1945-02-25) is same both in NVM and also in GQM report dated 1945-03-02. Therefore that might be correct. Where have you found 332597 for Reincke?
Please note, that Jonnek is written this way in EKM listing and GQM report, but Jonneck in NVM. I don't know, which one is correct.

Matti
