Question on FW190A-9

Hello everyone,
I am at the moment making a model of the FW190A-9 and have read that the engine cowling is 30mm longer than on previous models. Is the ring containing the new larger oil tank longer or is the ring in front of the oil cooler longer by that amount. Also apparently the thickness of the oil tank ring armour was increased from 6 to 10mm, was this thickness taken up on the outside of the ring or on the inside. If it was on the outside, the ring would be that much wider than the fuselage aft of the ring.I have seen the I.P.M.S. Stockholm comparison drawings and they have drawn the front ring longer but have drawn the oil tank ring normal length. I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter.
Kindest regards,
Don.
