San.-Flugbereitschaft 17 loss

I'm looking for information on Feldwebel Joachim Schröder who was killed on 29.12.1943 in Russia while serving as a pilot with San.-Flugbereitschaft 17.

Does anyone have a loss listing on this date for this pilot and his a/c.

Many thanks
Jeremy

Re: San.-Flugbereitschaft 17 loss

Well I found out where he was buried on the Volksbund site but still no cause of crash.

Since this was an ambulance unit ferrying wounded soldiers (Ju52's) I am assuming an accident.

Joachim Schröder ruht auf der Kriegsgräberstätte in Potylicz / Potelitsch.
Endgrablage: Block 10

Nachname:Schröder
Vorname:Joachim
Dienstgrad:Leutnant
Geburtsdatum:16.02.1921
Geburtsort:Arnswalde
Todes-/Vermisstendatum:29.12.1943
Todes-/Vermisstenort: Raum Potylitz/Rawa-Ruska nördl.Lemberg
