Re: Trying to verify Villacoublay as French Airfield where this photo was taken
Hi,
My friend Philippe Couderchon told me that in the book "Junkers 88 et 188 français" by Pierre Dumollard, Avia Éditions there is a plan of Villacoublay A/F. Note that page 7 there is an aerial view of jan.1944 (USAF credit) We can definitively confirm that the photo taken on this airfield but not to tell if it is before or after summer 1940.
