Chalva Loladze

Dear friends,

I am looking for information about the operational career of Chalva Loladze in the Soviet Air Force. Chalva Loladze is Sjalva (Sjaliko) Georgiëvitsj Loladze born in Telavi, village Zemo-Chadasjeni (Georgië) on April 5th, 1904 and died at April 24th, 1945 at Texel in the Netherlands. Buried at the Russian/Georgian Cemetery at De Burg, Texel, Netherlands. He was the leader of the Georgian uprising at Texel in the Netherlands in April 1945.
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shalva_Loladze :”In 1942, he was a Soviet Air Force captain and an air squadron commander. His airplane was shot down over Ukraine and Loladze was captured by the Germans. The source for this is “Bychkov, LN (Бычков, Лев Николаевич; 1965), Партизанское движение в годы Великой Отечественной войны, 1941-1945: краткий очерк (Partisan Movement in the Years of the Great Patriotic War, 1941-1945: brief essay), p. 403. Mysl (Мысль)”.“
We would like to know more about his time in the Soviet Air Force and his last flight during which he was shot down.
Looking forward for your reactions,

Jaap Woortman
