This Mosquito flew with 23 Sqn, scrambled from Malta at 2135 hrs on 26 April 1943 with Sgt E D White and Sgt C Maurice, failed to return.
Source: ORB 23 Sqn RAF, available online at http://www.oldrafrecords.com/index.php (up to 31 December 1943) It seems to me that in 1943 the only Mosquito nightfighter unit in MTO was 23 Sqn, so you can check this ORB for other similar cases. |
