This may not add much to what you already know but this is posted on the "Find a Grave" website: Birth: Jun. 30, 1916 Bavaria (Bayern), Germany Death: Dec. 1, 1942, Tunisia Feldwebel im Fallschirmjäger Regiment Bordj-Cedria Hof MOR Ossario 4 Tafel 17 Burial: Bordj-Cedria German War Cemetery Tunis Tunis, Tunisia All this and the photo probably come from the same sterbebild that you have. It might be worth contacting "Ralf" who posted his entry to see if he has any further information. He appears to have posted many sterbebild for German service personnel. I'm slowly doing the same with the sterbebild that I have collected.
