Hurricane destroyed 7 Aug 1941 Egypt.

Hi guys

My latest query!! A bit of a long shot!!

I'm endeavouring to establish the identity of a RN Hurricane of 803 Squadron that was destroyed on the ground on 7 August 1941 at an airfield in Egypt (Sidi Barrani)

My relevant Air Britain serials books are not available for me to check.

Z4719.
Z4778.
Z4834 - "S".
There may well be others but I did not see them.
Sea Hurricanes are extra to those above, and probably later.

Regarding you list, I am able to eliminate all bar the following, since I have record of them being flown after 7 August 1941:

Z4071
Z4326
Z4719
Z4778

I will have to double check re the above four.

Z4071 is a typo: Z4171 is listed as N, U 8.41-11.41
Z4326 is listed as Z from 10.41
Z4719 is listed with 775 Sq 3.42
Z4778 is listed until 2.3.44 and is a Sea Hurricane
