19 Hurricane's left behind ?
Hello, Anything new on the following 19 Hurricane's left behind in May 1940. Photographs of them in earlier service or of their wreckage ? Apologies if they have been delt with on this or other forum's but if so a link to the info would be helpful, thank you. The following are serial numbers taken from AB RAF Serial series books. It seems that all were CCF aircraft to begin with but may well have passed to Squadrons "at the front" . P series 2675 - 2700 - 2714 - Destroyed 30/5/40 by enemy action ? 2726-1 RSU. 2759 - 2816 - 2868 - 2969 - 2977 - Destroyed in Air Raid 6/40. Luftwaffe or Allied raid ? 3300 - 3364 - 3452 - 3455 - 3532 - 3533 - 3540 - Abandoned at Merville and captured 5/40 ? 3541 - 3543 - Missing 1/6/40 ? 3589 - Thanks for any help Alex
