Problem is not one of displaying the address alone, since my new address hadn't been displayed, yet its public on this forum (user option), as you can judge by the mail button.
Since I host the forum, I cannot opt to hide the address - how would you contact me otherwise? I agree that you should never type an address in a message. HOWEVER, this could very well be a hoax by someone who doesn't like this forum.
