				81730 Plt Off Gilbert George Elliot
			 The above General Duties officer was fatally wounded in the crash of a He 111 of 8/KG 55 on 8 Oct 40, succumbing 10 Oct 40.  He was buried at Sholden in Kent.  His unit was said to be RAF Tangmere-can anyone confirm this of what his unit was? |
