The photo you posted is L1+XB flown by the Gruppenkommander, Hptm Horst Liensberger, at Villacoublay Airfield, Vélizy, France, circa June 24 or 26, 1940. What you're thinking are victory tabs is a W.Nr., possibly 1349 or maybe 2349. As far as I know, no photos have ever surfaced showing Warrelmann's 110s during 1939-40, and I've searched hard for them. However, his 3./NJG3 110, L1+IL, with eight victory tabs was well photographed. Regards, |
