Unfortunately the actual connection made gives no further clue as to how and why von Einsiedel was killed. Since my German is not god enough I am not able to trace this any further on the site in question. Anyone else? B Rgds Stig

In order to get confirmation on this, the relevant source would be the BA Militärarchiv, where they should have his personnel record and the papers from the war tribunal (Kriegsgericht). Regards, Andreas B

Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!

The VDK have him listed as being buried at Champigny-St-Andre, Block 14 Row 28 Grave 1624, they may have further information.
