I believe the request for the Canadian records must be done by mail. As pointed out above restrictions apply, but I think this is the form you need to use. (Perhaps others can provide a correct link if this is wrong.) They do not have the information online. You need to provide proof of death but perhaps a printout of information in the online US files will work.
