This has been out for a few months. This was one of a series of monographs worked on at the AVA Goettingen for the British Ministry of Supply under the direction of Albert Betz. It's a good reproduction of a document that isn't that easy to obtain. The content is interesting and was put together by two gentlemen intimately acquainted with what they were writing about. A few new photographs have been added - nothing that hasn't been seen before plus some biographical information - regrettably nothing on Nagel.

Thank you, Steve. I have not heard of Nagel that I can recall. Can you shed some light?

Best,
Ed

I have found it difficult to pin down much as to Nagel's exact role at Flettner owing to the paucity of surviving documentation. There is an American post-war report which describes him as Flettner's Chief Draftsman (American English) but there's really little other trace of him other than his involvement in the Goettingen Monograph.

I was able to find his son but it has been a very slow process in terms of anything surfacing, however, the son has recently advised me that he has found a Lebenslauf for his father so fingers crossed.
