Already published, and discussed if I remember correctly. These are Ju 388 L-1 (340xxx series) and Ju 388 J-1 (in background, barely visible on some shots) taken at ATG Leipzig-Mockau, photographer Margaret Bourke-White (?) Series of shots, most published in Vernaleken / Handig "Ju 388" book. Very good book.

Re: Wrecked JU 188's Leipzig May 1945

Gents,

second picture is well known too if I do recall right, with a location remark something like Rotenburg. But I can't see any Ju 188 or Ju 388 in this photograph. Most of the a/c remains are fuselages of Ju 86, 2 fuselages of Ju W 34, 1 fuselage of an Arado Ar 196 (not certain about that one), 1 wing of a Hs 126 and some floats.

Best Regards
Norbert

Photo #2: Looks like the inventory of Kampf-Flying schools being broken up for re-use.
