Re: 2x Do24 losses in the Med, June 1942

Guys

After this devastating knowledge, can I just ask a, perhaps trivial, question here?
Previous wisdom states that Do 24 WNr 3236 carried the STKZ KO+JF but here it is listed as KO+IF.
Since the whole batch WNr 3231-3240, 3261-3266 KO+JA to KO+JP depends on if this is right or wrong, I am a bit curious if someone has a comment to that?

Cheers
Stig

The Luftwaffe often (but not always) seemed to use I and J interchangeably.

Rainer,

Is there any other notices about the Lwf on the KTB of the UBoot-Waffe ??

Stkz, is KO+Jx, the KO+Ix probably comes from the loss doc. , where we could find many mispealling I nd J

Thanks Nick/Rémi

I stick to the 'JA to JP' version and keep a note NVM has its own version....
No one is perfect.

I found 25 incidents when German U-boats rescued German or Italian airmen. Should I post them in a separate thread in this forum so you could help me to properly identify the involved aircraft/aircrews?

I would suggest that you post them in a new thread.
