Re: Late war Bf 109 pictures source
Hi there Gang,
I was kindly provided today by Martin Reiher, son of Uffz. Gerhard Reiher, from 8./JG 3, with a picture of an Erla built Bf 109 G-10, flown by his father in late 1944 - early 1945. https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...in/dateposted/ The machine is said to be "Blaue 2" and the W.Nr. is partially legible. After scrutinizing it to the best of my ability, I read xx1617 which would point to W.Nr. 491617. Any known losses for this W.Nr. batch ? Any details on this particular machine ? Thanks in advance Marc
