Exclamation 2nd Lt Harold R Burt 359FG/369FS 42-103785

Hello ,

On september 17 1944 2nd Lt Harold R Burt 359FG/369FS crashed with his fighter 42-103785 due to a mechanical problem. Is there someone who can tell me were this happened.

Good morning Alain !

The Adams book states a vincinity of St. Anne as well as the Mighty Eight Combat Chronology states the same. The MACR # is 9007. You will find a photo of this officer in the book "359th FIGHTER GROUP 1943-1945" on page 31.

Hi Alain,

The plane crashed at Verrebroek (9130, between Sint Niklaas and Antwerpen). The pilot bailed out and landed at Kallo.
