Re: Late war Bf 109 pictures source
Hi there Gang,
We have a string of new Bf 109 G-6 pics here: Beyond saying the basics (Bf 109 G-6/R6 with a tall antenna mast) which allows to date those pics from the Summer of 1943, no clear evidence for the unit. https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...in/photostream https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...n/photostream/ This one comes a bit better off: probably "Schwarze 5" from 5./JG ? Any ideas about location and unit ? https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...n/photostream/ The last one is more of a Sütterlin reading issue: a Mtt-Regensburg built Bf 109 G-6 which tactical number "Grüne 674" does ring a bell for 6./JG 104. If not totally mistaken, this pic might have been taken at Roth in July 1944 (According to caption). https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...n/photostream/ Any precision would be greatly appreciated ![]() Cheers Marc Last edited by Marc-André Haldimann; 20th April 2016 at 12:01. |
