Hi Michael
I have finally got a lead on Schneeweiss. One mention of two claims on the night of his death(by memory) but flying with NJS LF 6, where he probably got all his claims, allegedly seventeen(but no evidence to support that) Günter Bertram claimed his first thirteen until 20th July 1943 with this unit. This unit never entered on the daily claims sheets before it's end, but Bertram's logbook survived. Therefore it is likely that Schneeweiss was the highest scorer with NJS LF6. Kind Regards Johannes
