Hi,
I think that 605 fought with the 9/JG3 (two claims Stechmann at 14.40 and Schentke at 14.42 over La Manche) and Joppien`s claim (claimed at 15.16) was against 253 RAF. Regards Robert

T.V.M I'm not gonna ask many questions about my first query. But Is there good sites or books about the same query I just asked about??? Because I had war diary lists on 1941 to 1943. See you all later

Ingle did not crash in the Channel but came down near Leeds Castle, Maidstone; I have his parachute QRF box and he told this when he gave it to me many years ago
