Neither? YH is No. 21 Squadron and they only got to the Med in December 1941 according to this:

Re: E-bay question - shotdown Blenhem MTO
An interesting photograph. That is 11 Squadron RAF which also used the code 'YH' at this time. I am almost certain it was taken in Greece during 1941. One can see the nose of what appears to be a Lockheed 10 type aircraft behind the Blenheim. It might be a Yugoslav AEROPUT civil airliner but the known fates do not seen to match the photo.
Hopefully our friends in that region of the world can shed more light on this little mystery. Regards, Martin Gleeson. |

Re: E-bay question - shotdown Blenhem MTO
Hi guys,
couple of No. 11 Squadron Mk.IV's were abandoned in same manner at Almyros airfield in Greece (Bristol Blenheim - The Yugoslav Story, Chapter 3 - Royal Comrades in Arms, page 116-117). Machine behind Blenheim is certainly Lockheed but not Electra of Aeroput. Aleks |
