Re: Spitfire PT847 340 Sqn

Hi,

2Y-S or GW-S ?

Posted previously to n°345 sqn (code 2Y) a/c posted to n°340 sqdn (code GW) on 2/11/1944.

N°340 came from B55 (Wevelghem) and posted to Biggin Hill without their planes.

They exchanged their aircraft with n°345 sqdn which joined B55.

Did have time to paint new code on Spitfire ?

I do not know

Bertrand
