Re: Information on mission of lost crew 1940

Hi Rick

Extracted from 'Battle for the Channel' soon to be published by Fonthill

3.(F)/121
Ju88 crashed at Dinard on return from operational sortie with the loss of Ltn Franz Taubert (pilot), Oblt Werner Viefhues, Fw Kurt Fiedler, Obgfr Werner Bruggert (all killed).

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Brian

They were compiled at unit level by certain units as an unofficial record of their casualties. Coverage is not wide therefore as it was not an official requirement.
