Hi:

Have you tried over at Bert Hartmann's "Luftwaffe Bullet Board", in the "Fliegendes- und Bodenpersonal" forum?

There's a fellow over there who has a "Flugzeugführerbewegungsbuch" (movement of pilots into and out of the unit) for JG 26 from 1939 to mid-44. Does that fit your time frame for Werner?
