Hi John,
Here are two remotely possible connections between Budweis and units using Me 262s: a) Regarding Erganzungskampfgeschwader (J), www.ww2.dk/air/kampf/ergkgj.html "1. Staffel at Budweis?, 2.45-2.45 ..." b) According to deZeng's Luftwaffe Airfields, in April 1945 Budweis had "elements of 1./Flugzeuguberfuhrungsgruppe Sudost", perhaps to ferry manufactured Me 262s out of Budweis. best regards, Jim Geens |
