Steve Gotts book "Little Friends" confirms - 26 December 44 Mission 278 0910 - 1125 hrs 14 a/c dispatched Sweep, Bonn-Giessen-Darmstadt-Speyer No claims - No losses. Mission 279 0840 - 1135 hrs ( I think the 0840 is a typo and should be 0940 ) 10 a/c dispatched Sweep, Speyer-Frankfurt-Limburg-Bonn No claims - No losses. Mission 280 0950 - 1210 hrs 14 a/c dispatched Sweep, Speyer-Frankfurt- Giessen- Bonn 6 claimed - No losses. Mission 281 1226 - 1525 hrs 14 a/c dispatched Close escort B26s Metz-Pirmasens No claims - No losses. Mission 282 1226 - 1530 hrs 14 a/c dispatched Close escort B26s Bad Kreuznach No claims - No losses. Mission 283 1430 - 1645 hrs 11 a/c dispatched Fighter Sweep, Trier area No claims - No losses.
