Hi Guys,
The 20 September raid occurred right in the middle of the Slovak National Uprising (late August to late October 1944). It is probable that some of the German combat types being used against the Slovaks were based there. Is there any evidence as to whether the raid was mounted in support of the Slovak insurgents?
