If Oblt. Claus failed to return in F-1 on 11 November 1940, then I assume Moelders got F-1 at the time as well and it must have been built considerably earlier. I am wondering if Moelders received a first series F-1 available in early October, remaining going for tests. Presumably after his first flights some snags were found and the aircraft was grounded for about two weeks. This makes sense for me. But then, the question arises if F-0 was ever delivered anywhere but some test units.
