Thanks for the reply. 51. MTAP bombed the harbours of Roenne and Neksoe in May 1945. It is a part of Danish history that are not well studied. A lot of books from the Cold War dismissed the Russian attacks as terror attacks against a danish city. The target was German ships in the two harbours, but the pilots hit almost everything else. I think that some of the bombers attacked from the sea and then 'walked their bombs' up through the city of Roenne. The Danes always claimed that the Germans shot down a couple of Russian planes, but the Russians denies that. I don't think that any Russian planes were shot down, but I would be nice to know for sure. Carsten
