Re: German bomber units in Italy September 1943
In Sep 1943 KG 54 was based at:
Stab: Foggia I./KG 54: Ingolstadt/Manching II./KG 54: Wien/Aspern III./KG 54: Foggia IV./KG 54: Parndorf So only III./KG 54 was in Italy at the time. 5 Ju 88 attacked the Italian barracks at Barletta on the 10th or 11th of Sep 1943.
