Quite some journey you made Jochen.
 When your first volume of JG 53 was published in 1989 and now 28 years later you and your colleagues can actually see the 'end' of that journey at the horizon. Congratulations to both you and Gerhard (and not forgetting Winfried either) Back in 1989 did you ever visualize this day....? Cheers Stig

Dear Stig,
yes, I did, but thought it would be much earlier. As it is, we still have to tackle the South and the East in 1944 and the end in 1945, all told at least another six Volumes. Anyway, thanks for your encouragement - we'll try our best. KR Jochen Prien
