Hello Maciej,
Thank you for posting these interesting photos (Post #664). Regarding: http://www.ww2online.org/image/ameri...n-1944-or-1945, this is a beautiful example of an Fw 190 F-8 outfitted for night attack operations. Note that it is fitted with exhaust flame dampers, and that its small yellow plane number 5 has been applied relatively far forward of its Balkankreuz and on its main gear wheel covers. Does anyone recognize the hangar/control tower in the background? Respectfully, Steve Sheflin
