Re: 460th BG - Two Events in 1944
Alex, I assume you have seen MACR 6303 for the loss of Walsh. It start here for those with fold3 access. No real infomation other than Walsh bailed out after the plane hit some prop wash during the bomb run. The pilot was Benjamin F Crawford, 762nd BS.

His plane was apparently White M, i.e. "White Mike"", serial number ??.
