Oh Lord, is that 15mm cowling gun garbage still making the rounds? In "Warplanes of the 3rd Reich," William Green stated that the Bf 109K had 15mm cowling weapons. NO, NO, NO!!! The cowling weapons were 13mm for all 109s for the G-5 and beyond. So, your 13mm gun may well be from that 109 G-14.
