I am more than happy to admit that my own database might be lacking in that area due to my own fault (lack of thoroughness or another oversight) or due to the sources I was quoting being not quite up to date.
Either way, you've helped us move forward in our knowledge of Schoenert's opponents

The serial of F/Sgt Pridgeon's Lancaster was definitely "W4956". W4756 fell within a black-out block. W4956 was on it's 1st op, it only had 13.00 hours up on the clock.

The No.460 Sqn RAAF ORB F.540 (p.401 of 965), correctly identifies the Lancaster as W4956, but the F.541 (p.437 of 965), incorrectly refers to it as, W4966. Whatever the coding (AR or UV), the individual letter was "J".
