Re: P-39Q French Airacobra crashed in Switzerland July 1945

I think it is indeed tricky because of
- the accident wasn't in a combat
- it was not in France or Germany but in neutral Switzerland
- it was after the war ended in Europe (8. May 1945 versus 16. July 1945)

At that time Switzerland still was under the law of war. As the article mentioned it was only a short message given to the press about the two crashes.
Best chances would be to find somewhere the logbooks or the complete history of the GC 2/9 until it dissolves.
